About Me

-20130708-Nada-YSP_1403-EditI am a 30-something Dubai-based Saudi lifestyle blogger and writer. I am on an endless journey of self-discovery and self-development.

In the year 2009, I moved to London to take a one year intensive foundation course in Fashion Media and Communication at the prestigious London College of Fashion. Little did I know, that this was only the first baby step in my career changing journey!

I managed to successfully pass one term of A-level equivalent intensive study, before deciding to move to Dubai in April of 2010 to intern at publishing companies.

Two editorial internships and another advertising industry internship brought me to where I am now; a lifestyle blogger.

Working on this blog allows me to do what I love to do most: expressing myself and my views through writing.

It also gives me a good excuse to constantly do fun things, attend all sorts of events and network with various groups and communities.

This blog is basically an extension to my dream career of lifestyle journalism. The topics you will read about will mostly revolve around my personal life stories and activities. And since I grew up in the Gulf region, you might find that my personal perspective on things and incidents is evident and reflected in most of my posts.

I have recently completed a Bachelor of Communication in journalism from Murdoch University.

After two previous failed attempts to make it in Europe and escape my strict and confining Saudi lifestyle…

Will I be able to finally make it in Dubai and realize my goal of becoming a highly successful, financially independent and renowned  self-made Saudi diva?

Stay tuned to this blog to find out!

Love,

The Rebellious Saudi Diva

Honestly, I’m not aware of a center that teaches Arabic with a Saudi accent. But if you want, I can give you some introductory lessons 😉
